Corporate Identity

Credo

Our credo, Sal et Lux (Salt and Light), is a contraction of the biblical phrase "Salt of the earth, light of the world" taken from Matthew 5:13 Vos estis sal terrae. and Matthew 5:14 Vos estis lux mundi.
This embodies our mission, "Be of service to society, like salt that purifies the earth. Be a beacon for the people, like light that illuminates the world." It succinctly expresses our role as an organization dedicated to the public good.

Definition

The Foundation's logo consists of two elements: the symbol mark, "Henjo-in Katabami" (遍照院片喰; Oxalis of Henjo-in), which combines the "Noshi Ken Katabami" (熨斗剣片喰) and "Tsuru Ken Katabami" (蔓剣片喰). Both are types of "Ken Katabami" (剣片喰) and a logotype using the "Zen Antique Soft" font, distinguished by its characteristic ink-pooling effect.
