Frequently Asked Questions
- Regarding support donations for Botamaru-Yuki
For accounting purposes, your support donations are treated as "donations to the Foundation's sponsorship activities." Please note that this differs from a donation (gift) made directly to Botamaru-Yuki herself. The funds paid by the Foundation to Botamaru-Yuki are processed as "commission-based sponsorship fees" under the contract.
- Regarding types of donations
General donations
This is a donation to the general activities of the Gunjo Foundation, not for a specific project. More than half of the donation will be used for public interest projects stipulated in Article 4 of the Articles of Incorporation, and the remainder will be used for administrative expenses, etc.
Specific donations
This is a donation for which the donor specifies the intended use in advance. The entire donation amount (or a greater amount if otherwise stipulated) will be used for the specified purpose.
Recurring donations
This is a donation system where a predetermined amount and type (general donation or specific donation) is automatically debited from the donor on a monthly basis.
